Steve Montador Passes Away At Age 35

The hockey world was hit with the sad news that 35 year old former defenseman Steve Montador  passed away yesterday. There doesn't seem to be foul play involved in the passing of Montador, but rather of natural causes
Montador played in 571 NHL games with the Calgary Flames, Florida Panthers, Anahim Ducks, Boston Bruins, Buffalo Sabres and of course the Chicago Blackhawks. He scored 33 goals and had 98 assists. Montador played 52 games in Chicago and had five goals and nine assists he suffered a concussion in 2012 his last year in the league.
The Blackhawks issued a team statement "With deep sadness we mourn the unfortunate loss of former Blackhawks Steve Montador. We join the many others throughout the NHL in keeping Steve's family and friends in our thoughts and prayers in thoughts and prayers during this difficult time."
